All weather birding!
Monthly outing to Musselburgh (mouth of the River Esk) and Levenhall Links. This is one of the best places to see a variety of birds.
The group is open to everyone at all levels of bird watching - beginners are welcome.
We meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 10 am during the months of March to October and then at 12 noon during the months of November to February. We meet at the mouth of the River Esk at Goose Green Place.
Appropriate clothing is necessary as we will go out in all weathers. Please bring a pair of binoculars if you have them. We will be out for about 2 to 3 hours. Please bring a snack and a drink if you wish.
Musselburgh is well served by buses and it is about 10/15 minute walk from the bus stop on Musselburgh High Street. There are public toilets on Shorthope Street, just off the High Street. On street parking around Goose Green Place is available for those coming by car.
