Current Member - Members Portal - What is it?

Our Members Portal is an online system where we keep all members' records. As Edinburgh u3a has thousands of members, there is a significant administrative workload for our volunteer Membership Team.

Therefore it is a great help if our current members have access to their own records and make their own updates whenever their home address or phone numbers change. Members can also change their prefences about delivery of printed copy of Clarion and Third Age Trust magazines.

Note that it is not necessary to access the Members Portal in order to take part in u3a group activities. As long as you are a current member, you can contact a Group Leader by clicking on the Group Email link on any group listed here.

If you are a current member, you can access the Membership Portal as follows:

  • Register on the Membership Portal, also known as Beacon - you only need to do this once. See details below.
  • Log in to the portal and update your details - you can do this as many times as you want.

Current Member - Already Registered - How do you log in to the Members Portal?

Current Member - How do you register on the Members Portal?

If you are currently a member of Edinburgh u3a you can register on our Members Portal - you only ever need to do this once!

Current Member - Already Registered - How do you update your details?

If you have already registered (you do not need to do it again) and you want to update your address, phone number or magazine delivery preferences on your record you can do so by following the instructions here.

You can phone 0131-581-8525 to leave your name and message on the Eu3a voicemail. Someone will then call you back to help you.
