Resarching historical topics.
Members take it in turns to research a historical topic and give a presentation on it, optionally using audio visual aids such as PowerPoint slides. The programme is punctuated with occasional quizzes, films and discussions.
Members pay £25 per year (or pro rata for part of a year) to cover the cost of hiring the meeting room. Prospective new members are welcome to attend their first meeting free of charge before deciding whether to continue.
