These days, as they begin to retire, people, even the "successful" ones, are revisiting their fundamental life choices as never before.
Some may see this Group, as the chance to take stock and re-orientate their lives and priorities, looking at alternative options for the next 10 to 20 years; others will see this as an opportunity for some further life-long learning, contributing more to the world creatively, though in different ways than previously. An important element will be to consider advances in longevity in terms of health and emotional welfare.
We will include standard retirement-type issues: financial planning, handling pensions and investments, fractional ownerships even, but also address wider support issues after leaving organisations.
We will use case studies of later lives well lived, and some going disastrously wrong! The aim is to jump start, a longer, healthier, happier life supported by life-long learning and new skills and experiences.
