Talk by Cameron Diekonigin
Cameron Diekonigin is chairperson of the Edinburgh and Lothians Fungus Enthusiasts. He is also a member of the British Mycological Society, and has been studying fungi for the last decade.
His talk explores the differences between plants, animals and fungi, as well as explaining the influence that fungi have on the world and on humans in particular.
Throughout the talk, some members of the audience will be invited to participate in some light-hearted exercises to highlight some lesser-known but interesting mycological facts.
There will be tea, coffee and biscuits after the talk.
