Hill top Structures.
This group is for those curious about the various Follies usually to be found atop hills.
Our aim is to visit them for no better reason than because they are there. Some will be magnificent mausoleums, others little more than bricks and stones, but someone built them for no better reason than “why not” and that’s a good enough excuse for a walk with something to see. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month in summer .

Buses: Not applicable
Accessibility : Visits often involve short but relatively steep ascents and occasionally steep spiral staircases. Strong footwear required.
