The golf group has 50+ members many of whom meet regularly on Monday mornings between 9:00am to 10:20am at Edinburgh Leisure's Wee Braids golf course, Liberton Drive.
Group members are of mixed abilities and we welcome newcomers (regular or occasional). Around one third of our members are ladies and we play in mixed groups. Some group members also play at other EL courses around Edinburgh, on different days of the week.
Unfortunately we have no provision for complete beginners and no coaching is provided. It is expected that new members will have previously played golf and are able to complete a round of golf and have basic awareness of rules/ etiquette.
We occasionally organise trips to other courses, mainly in East Lothian. There is also an annual lunch at which prizes for the year are presented for a variety of achievements, not all of which require golfing prowess!
Buses: Depends on courses.
Accessibility : Normally parking and some accessibility is available at courses.
