Speak with native Spanish speaker.

Level: Intermediate and above. Members generally understand the main points of clear, standard Spanish on familiar matters and can deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling in Spanish language countries. They can understand the main ideas of complex text and interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity with native speakers. The group leader is a bilingual Spanish-English speaker with strong ties to both Colombia and the UK.

Format: CollaborativeWe do not expect the group leader to provide all the material. Members are encouraged to contribute actively and bring ideas and material to the meetings in order to further practise our language skills. Each meeting might be a mix of informal chat, a sharing of our writing using target vocabulary or it could be a discussion of a Spanish language short story we have all read. The group is friendly and supportive and the atmosphere is relaxed. We have also met up socially for Spanish language themed lunches and have attended a Lorca inspired performance with flamenco music and dancing.
