A Group for Writers

A group of fiction/non-fiction writers, welcoming those who have published work as well as those hoping to get something published.

• Members email the group leader a piece of their own writing up to around 2000 words. The group leader stores these and sends two or three of the submissions out to members in a single document (The fortnightly ‘Script’) a week prior to the meeting. 
• The meeting itself is spent listening to the writers read their work (suggested 10 mins) – then all who wish to, join in to critique the piece. 
• Members are asked to check grammar and spelling before submitting. 
• Critiques are expected to be honest, thorough and constructive.
